Monday Creative dementia art sessions

Have you heard about our Monday Group?

Keighley Creative’s Arts for Brain Health group is held weekly on a Monday, from 1.30pm till 3.30pm and offers people living with dementia and their carers a chance to meet new people and have a go at creative activities together.

Dementia art group Keighley

Hands-on group work is proven to bring health and happiness benefits and can involve people of any ability or at any stage of dementia. They use lots of different methods and materials to create art or tell stories.

The group ensures it is friendly and welcoming to all, and new members are welcome. It prides itself on offering a kind, caring, fun and stimulating learning environment in the heart of Keighley.

The Monday Creative group is run by qualified art therapist, Ailsa Lewer, and artist, Carine Brosse, both of whom have many years experience in working with and supporting those affected by long-term neurological conditions.

To book a trial session or just pop in for a cuppa, please contact Ailsa on 07423 154855, by phone or text, or email ailsa@keighleycreative.org
