On Saturday 7th December, Keighley Town Council have arranged a special event marking the 100 year anniversary of the town’s cenotaph which was unveiled on this day in 1924. The event will start at 12 noon and will include a short service with lots of free information and activities to take part in including a workshop organised by Keighley Creative.

Come along on Saturday 7th December to join in with our free craft workshop. All the family is welcome to pop along and make some fun festive art! Facilitator and artist, Sian Atkinson, will be running the workshop where you can make Christmas decorations and characters at Keighley’s Airedale Shopping Centre.

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Keighley Christmas Baubles team on Saturday 30th November. They will be running a craft workshop from our premises on Cooke Lane. Keighley Christmas Baubles provide an opportunity for local people to come along and decorate their own bauble for hanging on the Christmas tree in the Airedale Shopping Centre.

Keighley Creative’s Arts for Brain Health project is running an exhibition to showcase the group’s work. NOW EXTENDED! This show is entitled Nature and Imagination. What does nature mean to you? What would your ideal outdoor space look like? The public are invited to an exhibition of artwork created in Keighley Creative’s Wednesday Drop-in on the themes of imagined outdoor spaces and personal maps and journeys.

As part of the Keighley Walking Festival, we are collaborating with Keighley Town Council to put on the Light up the Night Walk on Thursday 19th September @ 6:00pm. The walk is 2 mile / 3.2km and is a circular route starting and finishing at Keighley Creative’s base. Our address is Keighley Creative, 3-7 Cooke St, Airedale Centre, Keighley BD21 3PF, which is a 2 minute walk away from Keighley Bus Station and an 8 minute walk from Keighley Train Station.
