Do you have a passion for music? Have you always wanted to learn how to DJ but don’t know where to start?
As part of our Women of the World event on Sunday 3rd March, we are happy to announce we will be hosting SheSpins DJ workshops.
SheSpins are free workshops exclusively designed to empower young women, girls and non-binary people aged between 12 and 18. The workshops aim to teach people how to DJ and mix music, celebrate female talent and unleash potential! Whether you are a complete novice or have some DJ experience, join us for an immersive session that breaks barriers and fosters creativity in a supportive environment.
SheSpins workshops are run by local DJ, Kiya Major, who some of you may recognise as one of the amazing team who delivered the I Am Brill and the Mega Drawing Box projects.
The workshops will be held in the Stockroom space at Keighley Creative at 12 noon till 1.30pm and 2.15pm till 3.45pm as part of the WoW event.
The workshops will be running alongside lots of other fun and free activities including tattoo workshops, craft sessions and live music.
