Pledges to the Landscape art exhibition

January 2025 will be the opening of an exhibition showcasing the amazing work done by Keighley young people as part of our Pledges to the Landscape project.

Year 5 children from Merlin Top, Eastwood, Victoria, Riddlesden St. Mary’s, Holycroft and Worth Valley Primaries created their unique art to illustrate their learning about peats.

The work was done during classroom sessions run by Naseem Darbey, artist and educator from Keighley Creative, and Lucy Lee, Wilder Communities Engagement Officer from Yorkshire Peat Partnership.

The Pledges to the Landscape art exhibition will be on display at Keighley Creative at 3-7 Cooke Lane, just outside the Airedale Shopping Centre near Subway.

It will run from Wednesday 8th January until Saturday 26th January 2025. Times to be confirmed.

This event is in collaboration with Yorkshire Peat Partnership and has been funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Climate Change Grant.
