Are you ready to bring your artistic visions to life? Dive into the vibrant world of watercolour painting with our comprehensive 8-week course, Painting Your Passions with Watercolour.
Whether you’re a budding artist or looking to refine your skills, this course is designed to inspire and enhance your painting journey. It is about discovering what you love and feel passionate about, and then translating that into paint.
This is more than painting from photos, it is about discovering what you love and developing themes and ideas to find joy in your art. Linda does not teach you how to paint like her, she helps you paint like you!
What You’ll Discover:
Fundamentals of Watercolour: Learn the basics of watercolour painting, from selecting the right paper to mastering water control.
Technique Mastery: Explore a variety of techniques such as wet-on-wet, dry brush, and mark-making to create pleasing effects.
Creating Impact: How to make paintings pop with life and vibrancy.
Subject Exploration: Paint a range of subjects that inspire you, we use a
Sketchbook/journal as a place to explore & discover what you love to paint.
Personalized Feedback: Receive individual guidance to improve your work.

Once a week, 2-hour sessions; 10:30am-12:30pm

About the Artist
Linda’s lifelong career as an artist has taken her around the world with amazing experiences. She is an expert painter and has collaborated with leading art materials companies such as Winsor & Newton, Pebeo and Liquitex Acrylic. As a key painting demonstrator, technical advisor and corporate trainer for these companies, she has represented them at national and international art fairs such as Materials Live, Paperwork in Frankfurt and Hills Art Extravaganza in Dublin.
Realising she could support artists, Linda became a popular tutor with over 25 years experience teaching art. She is well-known for her enthusiasm, passion, and encouraging manner. Linda hosts warm, friendly and highly enjoyable inspirational courses, painting holidays and workshops. Both indoors and plein-air being an associate tutor for several organisations. Linda encourages and supports artists to express their creative voice. With a can-do approach she shows practical ways to help you bring the best out of your painting. With her in-depth knowledge and mastery of different media, she demonstrates ways to try something new in easy steps.
Creating original paintings for galleries, solo shows & art events bring the experience of working with Interior Designers for Showhomes & Statement Pieces. Licensing Agents for publishing prints and merchandising.
She expresses her passion for travel and culture by painting colourful landscapes that she encounters during her journeys. This has led to numerous sales and exhibition opportunities in countries such as France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, India, and Greece. Additionally, she has become an Arts and Culture host for an International destination tour company.
