About our Artists: Queen Catherina and Princess Bellatrix (Cath and Issy!) are a mother/daughter-in-law duo of multimedia makers/performance artists based in Keighley, and they have a studio at Keighley Creative. They’ve collaborated for many years, and alongside their festival-based installations and performances like the Emotional See-Saw; Pole Dancing Team; and Recycled Racecourse, they also hold regular workshops with local community organisations, schools, and clubs.

Their work gets people involved, it’s playful, fun and cheeky! They often use large scale interactive sculptures, but for this set of sessions, they are going back to basics- back to drawing.

The duo says: “Art is for everyone, and you have to start somewhere! We’re usually makers and performers, so we’ll be learning alongside you, and this is what it’s all about. Join us for a quick morning art class, as we share in the joy, fun and focus of trying something new together. We promise it’ll be a laugh, and we’ve got lots of drawing challenges for us all to have a go at!”
