Sarfraz Manzoor grew up in a working-class Pakistani Muslim family in Luton. The film adapted showing later on Saturday night at Keighley Picture House is adapted from his earlier book ‘Greetings from Bury Park’. He is now a journalist, documentary maker, broadcaster and screenwriter.
His new book They is the story of modern, Muslim Britain as it has never been told, a powerful and deeply personal exploration of a divided country, and a hopeful vision for change. Hear Manzoor talk about his book, his career and his own life experience at this special event.
