Online Group – Dementia Friendly

A dementia-friendly art and story group that meets fortnightly, online.

Sharing an hour of our time with each other, once a fortnight, whilst making stories and trying out new arty things really is fantastic! And the sessions are run by two very experienced artists, so you will be in safe hands!

If you are living with dementia, or if someone you know, or care for, is living with dementia (or a long term neurological condition such as Parkinson’s Disease) and you would like to give this a go, please contact us. This group is for carers too, a chance to unwind and enjoy yourself. You will be surprised by how much you enjoy it!

We meet online over video, using a tool called Zoom. You might be technologically up-to-speed and ready to go with this, but if you haven’t used Zoom before (or if online groups are new to you), we can help you with this. We will even do a one-to-one with you on Zoom before you join the group so you can see what it’s like.

The group meets on a Monday afternoon and lasts just over an hour. We will deliver packs of materials to your doorstep for the activities we do and we will keep in touch with you by post between sessions. New members are always welcome.
